In a July 13, 2017 article authored by Matterport for the National Association of Realtors is asking if agents and brokers are using virtual reality to win more buyers and sellers.
In the article was a quote from Matt Altman, star of Bravo Million Dollar Listing, “We win nearly every listing presentation because we come in with a Matterport 3D and VR technology,” He goes on to say “If you don’t have it, your have no chance in especially in luxury. The value to us – it’s priceless.”
The article goes on to say that while virtual reality is being quickly adopted in real estate, it might not be too long before the technology is standard practice. Quoting the article “Use it or be left behind”.
